Alan Williams is an award-winning composer and conductor with more than 100 motion picture and television credits. Alan’s scores include the Academy Award nominated IMAX film, Amazon, Sony Pictures Classics’ Mark Twain’s America and some of the highest rated movies made for television. Some of his recent credits include the Chinese theatrical feature film Legend of the Forest and the IMAX films Secrets of the Sea, Serengeti, and Space: The New Frontier.

Alan’s score to Ronin 3: The Battle for Sangin has been nominated as Best Music Score at the World Entertainment Awards. This is the second WEA nomination, to go along with the concert suite nomination for Best Orchestral Composition for this important documentary limited series.
The prestigious International Sound & Film Music Festival (ISFMF) has nominated Alan’s scores Space: The New Frontier (Best Original Score - Documentary) and Blackwater (Best Original Score -Short).
Alan’s concert suite, Ronin 3: A Heroes Tribute, performed by ’The President’s Own’ Marine Chamber Orchestra has been nominated for Best Orchestral Composition for the 2026 awards. This concert suite features music for the upcoming 3-part documentary series Ronin 3: The Battle for Sangin.
Alan’s score to the IMAX film Space: The New Frontier wins Best Music Score at the 2025 World Entertainment Awards held at the Writer’s Guild of America Theater in Beverly Hills.
